tender - about the tenderness of time, of the ideas of ephemeralness, entropy and morality represented visually through nature. Growing up in Singapore, I only ever experienced one climate, tropical summer. When I moved to London, I noticed how time passed and was measured differently with seasonal shifts in appearance and mood. Over the last eight months, during the Covid-19 pandemic, my connection with nature and the outer world has shifted. tender is a reflection of these transitional periods I have experienced throughout a year of my life.
